Stenocoryne aureo fulva

This orchid is special! I was roaming the greenhouses of Orchideengarten Karge in Dahlenburg/Germany at the beginning of October2016 on the occasion of their 120th anniversary where I saw this unusual orchid that is also known as Bifrenaria secunda.   Funny enough it is a species within all of my beautiful hybrids.   When I came home, one spike was about to wither but shortly after, a totally new spike grew and gave me this beautiful spray of flowers.
